Mini Bio

Born in Juiz de Fora, William began his career in the basic categories of Friburguense and Botafogo. In 2011 as a Botafogo player he made his South American Cup debut. In 2013 he signed a three-and-a-half year contract with AS Trencín but in January of 2014 he was transferred to MSK Zilina with a great highlight in his debut in the Club. In January 2016 he was transferred to Kayserispor in Turkey. At the end of 2016, he joined the Grupo Desportivo Chaves in Portugal, where he was prominent as a striker until he moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2019 to play at Al Faisaly FC.
